​Bart is a hands-on builder and will be on your job site every day. By building only a limited number of houses each year he is able to uphold his exacting standards of quality and keep the best suppliers and trade contractors working on his projects.

A native of Dothan, Bart graduated from the University of Alabama before receiving his master’s degree in City Planning from Georgia Tech. Beginning in 1976 Bart successfully built custom homes in the highly competitive Atlanta market before returning home. Bart has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and is a two-time winner of the prestigious Professionalism Award from the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association.

Closer to home, winning awards has been second nature to Bart. He has been named Builder of the Year by the Home Builders Association of Dothan & the Wiregrass Area three times.  For two years running, 2015 and 2016, in the Dothan Eagle’s Best of the Wiregrass contest the public has named him Best Home Builder. He is also a finalist for the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year award.
